Our Story
Netramind was formed to translate advances in ophthalmic artificial intelligence into tools that are useful beyond the academic lab. Originating within UPMC's Vision Institute, the company focuses on building rigorous, transparent AI systems that support ophthalmic research today, with a path toward future clinical applications.
Our work combines vision science, imaging, and machine learning to deliver tools that enable more precise analysis of ocular structures and disease.
What We Do
NMI Choroid — automated choroid segmentation, CVI, thickness, vessel maps, and ETDRS outputs; available on Heidelberg AppWay.
NMI Annotate (no video) — expert labeling workflows with reviewer QA; export to CSV/JSON.
NMI Outer Retinal Analyser — automated outer retinal layer metrics with regional statistics for cohorts.
